This is a very user friendly DeWalt air compressor, it is relatively quiet and it comes up to full pressure rapidly. The oil reservoir adds to the durability of the DeWalt D55151 because it keeps the piston well lubed. Small oil-free models are often prone to freeze up under sustained use. As long as you check the oil level and color regularly the D55151 can last a lifetime.
The DeWalt D55151 has some great features including:

- Lightweight design for easy use and handling in a variety of orientations

One of the user reviews make these points about the DeWalt D55151 Air Compressor:
As a trim subcontractor we use compressors every day and we have to have dependable equipment. I have had several brands of oil bath compressors. All have given years of daily service with minimal breakdowns. These Dewalt models have everything you need to power 2-3 finish guns at a time. With routine checking oil and air intake filter your set for work. I try to pull the oil pan off and clean the crankcase out once a year and refill with synthetic oil. By taking the pan off you can wipe out the aluminum dust that settles in the oil. It will not drain out with the oil if you just pull the plug. This is a heavy duty unit that will give you years of service!
